Which Airlines from Heathrow

Heathrow Airport is the largest airport in the UK, with two main runways and five terminals. Heathrow Airport is also the fourth busiest in the world, and has the largest amount of international passenger traffic. It acts as the primary hub for British Airways, BMI and Virgin Atlantic Airways, as well as accommodating numerous other international airline corporations. The M4 and M25 Motorways as well as the A4 and A30 roads all lead to Heathrow and Airport parking is available upon arrival. Heathrow parking offers both short and long stay multi storey car parks.

If you are travelling from Heathrow then you are spoilt for choice when it comes to Airlines and destinations. The best way to narrow down your selection is to consider where you would like to travel to and your budget in terms of flight costs. If you are fairly flexible then you may wish to investigate the nature and quality of service offered up by certain airlines to find the most comfortable and enjoyable flight.

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic are highly regarded airlines. They may cost a little more than your budget Airline, but given that Heathrow is their primary base you will have an extremely wide choice of destinations and flight times. These corporations are particularly suitable for long haul international flights thanks to the level of comfort and service that they provide.

If you have a smaller budget, and particularly for short haul flights within Europe then you may be better off cutting costs and travelling with a smaller Airline company. BMI offers excellent value with a wide variety of destinations.

Alternatively you can opt for an international airline that concentrates flights between certain destinations, for example American Airlines for the US or Emirates for Dubai. If you are booking a package holiday then Thomas Cook provides chartered flights from Heathrow to your selected location.
