Timeshares For Fun and Travel

We love to timeshare around the country and think it is a great way to travel. We own 13 weeks of timeshare and by using the different systems are able to travel 18 to 20 weeks a year.

First, the accommodations are great. We quickly became tired of the small, four-walled rooms you get at most hotels or motels. Also, we found that the costs of the rooms were frequently not in our budget for vacations. On the other hand, we stay in a one or two bedroom timeshare with full kitchen, living room, and usually an in-room Jacuzzi and a washer and dryer. We often have enough room to include family and friends. Because we purchased our timeshares resale and we can get 18-20 weeks of usage, our per day costs are lower than staying at motels.

The resorts we have stayed at have been wonderful with many amenities and usually beautiful grounds. There are pools, hot tubs, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, mini golf, etc. They most often have activities for kids and adults that make your stay more enjoyable. There are games and crafts for the kids, a welcome breakfast, wine & cheese party, karaoke night, etc. for the adults.

You also get to network with other travelers to share ideas and stories. You get the chance to meet these folks at the resort activities and at the resort facilities. You share travel tips, timeshares ideas, good restaurants in the area, etc.
