Fuel surcharge Cut bring cheap Air Travel


The reduction in fuel surcharge on all domestic flights by various major airlines like Kingfisher, Jet Airways, Air India and Indigo brought a smile on the faces of all air travelers by providing cheap flights to India just ahead of Christmas and New Year. This process is supposed to result out in dropping of airfares by up to Rs. 400. The cuts in aviation turbine fuel prices by oil marketing companies also enhanced the happiness and treated as the gift jut before the Christmas and New Year.

Kingfisher Red which was formerly known as Air Deccan will charge Rs 300 less for distances up to 750 km than the Rs. 2250 earlier. Rs. 200 will be reduced for the flights that covers distances over 750 km, Rs. 2,900 had been charged for traveling of this distance.The Kingfisher flights will charge for the full-service carrier Rs. 1950 up to 750 km which is Rs. 400 less than the amount which was charged earlier, the cost of traveling more than 750 km will be Rs. 2700 from Rs. 3100 earlier.
Jet Airways has made a statement to cut fuel surcharge by Rs 400 on all domestic sectors which will also be applicable to its low-cost entity JetLite. Air India had already said for cutting fuel surcharge by Rs 400 on all domestic flights.In the same sequence Low-cost carrier IndiGo will also follow the same reduction in fuel surcharge on all domestic routes to stand with Air India, Jet Airways and JetLite.
The decrement in prices of fuel approached various airline flights to cut fuel surcharge by Rs. 400 which make air travel affordable.
